I am using an iphone 5 & I upgraded the OS to iOS10 todays ago, since then the screen snapshot feature is not working
Has anybody faced a similar issue ?

No, it is working on my 6S. Have you done a reset since the update?
iphone7&iOS10 is not working,but it is working on 6s iOS10
On my iPhone 6 it's working fine.

A workaround is go to settings-accessibilityturn on assistive touch
Then on next page create new gesture then customise top level menu

Same here. iPhone 5. Screen goes dark, phone buzzes, then goes back to lock screen. No image in photo library.
That sounds like a software issue. Restore the device back to factory settings in iTunes.
